1. About Me

My name is John Paul Escabilla and I was born in Iloilo City on the 14th of February of 1995. I have a passion for writing and I just need a place to fill in my thoughts and to escape the cruel reality that life is offering and has to offer and well, by writing about it. Everything that comes into mind is written in here. This blog is practically about my insights on life. And love.

Okay, enough with the blotblot and let me tell you about myself.

I live in the Philippines (duh). My friends call me JP basically because that’s my nickname and it’s very common for a name like mine to be named a two-letter byname. I suffer from hyperhydrosis - severe sweating disorder - which is really a hindrance for me to socialize with other people because of humiliation caused by this condition. I also have asthma. I stopped engaging in sports way back in grade school when basketball and volleyball where games I usually play the most. I’m a bit of a daydreamer. Sometimes, you’ll notice me staring blankly into open air thinking whatever thoughts come and go. I’m pretty awkward too. I tend to be very awkward with people I don’t truly feel comfortable with, even with some of my closest friends. There are certain people with whom my molecules aren’t just compatible with their’s. I’m very friendly, but screw me up and you’ll regret it; addictive, and a hopeless romantic. I listen and take advises, but I make my own mind up. I believe that there are no mistakes in life because life itself is not a mistake. They are just simply lessons that need to be learned. I live and learn by my mistakes, which make me a better person. Learning from lessons can hone us to become better human beings because these tend to be life experiences and just obstacles to keep us stronger in the future because there will be more problems and frustrations we may encounter so might as well be prepared. We all learn from lessons and I personally believe that being strong can raise each one’s self-esteem and become stronger to face the coming days.

I love food, music, books, and everything under the sun. Follow my blog and be updated. Everything I’m not makes everything I am.
